MaxWood Records was founded in 2011 by now CEO Michael Little in Mableton Ga. Michael who is a seasoned professional musician, songwriter, artist and producer who always dreamed of starting has own records label. To the likes of Barry Gordy, Quincy Jones and other greats in the music industry. The name MaxWood derived from his parents’ names Maxine and Woodrow Little who were the greatest parents who ever lived. They always taught their kids to treat others how you would like to be treated. With love, kindness and respect. And it’s better to give than to receive.
The first artist to release music on the MaxWood Label was Jessica Dinae’ who released a single in 2012 “I’m Yours”. That was followed by her EP “Melodies of the Heart” released in 2019. Today MaxWood Records and Management LLC, is on the move looking to sign several other up and coming star talent. Such as singer, songwriter Cory Williams and singer, songwriter and producer Dre Cole and a host of others.
